You Have Already Prayed About This
You have prayed about this already. Maybe for years. Maybe for your own body, or for someone you love more than your own body.
And you have probably heard the two answers the church tends to give.
One says that if you had enough faith, you would already be well. That answer quietly hands you the blame for your own suffering, and it has broken more people than it has healed.
The other says God stopped doing that sort of thing when the last apostle died. That answer is tidier, and it turns your prayers into a formality you perform because you are supposed to.
Neither answer holds up under the text of Scripture. And neither one has ever helped a single person standing beside a hospital bed at two in the morning.
There is a third position, and it is not a compromise between the first two. It is the one the Bible actually teaches. God is the Healer — that is His name, not His policy. He heals still, and the New Testament hands that ministry to ordinary believers rather than to specialists. And there is a not-yet in this world that He has never fully explained to any of us, including Paul.
Both of those are true at the same time. Scripture holds them together without apology. Most healing teaching picks one and hides the other.
This course refuses to do that.
What I Saw
In 2005, my heart stopped and the monitors went flat. I was gone for more than thirty minutes. I met Jesus Christ face to face.
I want to be careful with the next sentence, because it is the reason I teach this material at all.
There is no sickness there. Not managed. Not treated. Not in remission. Absent. The atmosphere of that place is hostile to disease the way light is hostile to darkness, and everything in me knew it instantly. The Healer is not a doctrine or a category of prayer. He is a Person, and I looked into His eyes.
But I did not come back with a formula, and I will not sell you one.
What I came back with was a settled conviction about the character of God, and then twenty years of work to understand what that conviction does and does not promise on this side of eternity.
That work has not been sentimental. Before ministry I spent years in clinical leadership in cardiovascular surgery and served as CEO of a biotechnology company. I have stood in operating rooms. I have read medical records with people whose training was in reading them. When I say a healing was documented, I mean I went and looked. And when I say I have prayed for saints who went home anyway, I mean I was in the room for that too.
The Question Most Healing Teaching Skips
Since returning, I have interviewed more than six hundred people who died, met God, and came back. I share those testimonies on the YouTube channel Heaven Encounters, which now reaches more than 336,000 subscribers and has been viewed over 100 million times.
Some of those people came back with bodies that no longer matched their charts. Cancers gone. Spines restored. Blind eyes opened. I have the corroboration in hand.
And I know the other stories too, because I have lived them. So does the New Testament. Paul asked three times about his thorn and was told no. Trophimus was left sick at Miletus by the same apostle whose handkerchiefs had healed people in Ephesus. Timothy was told to take something for his stomach rather than told to claim his healing.
Those verses are not embarrassments to be managed. They are in the canon on purpose, and any teaching on healing that walks past them has forfeited the right to be trusted with the harder question.

Introducing The Healer
The Healer is a six-module course drawn from three sources:
the whole counsel of Scripture on healing, my own encounter with Christ in 2005,
and more than six hundred interviews with people who met God on the other
side of death and returned with something to say about their bodies.

It is not hype, and it is not a hedge. It is a careful walk through what God has actually
said about healing, what the cross actually purchased, why some are healed and
some are not, how to receive, and how to release.
What’s Inside
Module 1: The Biblical Foundation of Healing
God revealed Himself as Jehovah Rapha at Marah before He gave Israel a single law about it. Exodus 15, the healing covenant, Psalm 103, Isaiah 53. Then the Gospel record of how Jesus healed,treated honestly, including the town where unbelief constrained even Him. The Twelve, the Seventy-Two, the book of Acts, and James 5 as ordinary church practice. The pattern was never meant to end with the apostles.
Module 2: What the Cross Purchased
Isaiah 53:4–5, Matthew 8:17, and 1 Peter 2:24, examined in the original languages rather than asserted from a stage. Choli and makob. Rapha. Astheneia, nosos, and iathete. What the atonement secured for the body, what is already, and what remains not yet. By the end of this module you will be able to defend your position from the text.
Module 3: The Honest Question: Why Some Are Healed and Some Are Not
Paul’s thorn. Trophimus at Miletus. Timothy’s stomach. Sovereignty, timing, and mystery. The limits of every formula, including the popular ones. And four pastoral postures for walking alongside someone who has prayed and has not been healed, without lying to them and without giving up on them.
This is the module that earns the right to teach everything else.
Module 4: Receiving Healing: Biblical, Proven Practices
Faith, repentance, agreement, anointing with oil, communion, and the prayer of the elders. The practices the New Testament actually prescribes, why each one works the way it does, and how to position yourself to receive without turning any of it into a lever you pull on God. Includes a personal inventory and prayer templates you will use for years.
Module 5: Releasing Healing to Others
How Jesus healed, how the disciples practiced it, how the early church carried it forward, and how every believer is commissioned to carry it now. This module ends the one-man-show mentality that has kept most Christians waiting for a specialist to arrive. Practical, hands-on, and thoroughly demystified.
Module 6: A Lifestyle, Not a Formula
Abiding as the source of everything the previous five modules taught. Stewarding yourself for a lifetime rather than a season. Multiplying this into your family, your church, and beyond. The course closes with a commissioning, a benediction, and the Aaronic blessing spoken over you.

More than 336,000 people follow that work, and the interviews have been viewed over 100 million times. I have personally interviewed over six hundred near-death experiencers, and I verify what I can before I publish any of it.
I am an ordained pastor and the author of The Healer, on which this course is built, along with Heaven Stormed, the account of my own encounter, and Heaven Encounters: 140 Near-Death Experiences Revealing the Afterlife (Charisma House). I lead Randy Kay Ministries, and I founded My Family Worldwide, a fellowship that now spans more than one hundred nations. I have served on dozens of boards of directors for Christian ministries, including some of the largest in the world. Before ministry, I served as a Fortune 100 executive and as CEO of a biotechnology company, with years of that career spent in clinical leadership in cardiovascular surgery. I hold a business degree from Northwestern University.
That last credential matters more here than it does in anything else I teach. I know what a medical record looks like. I know what a surgical outcome looks like. And I have stood in the presence of the One who does not need either of them.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does this course promise that I will be healed?
No. No honest teacher can promise that, and Scripture does not. What this course promises is that you will know what God has said, that you will know how to receive and how to release, and that you will not be handed a lie in either direction.
I have prayed for years and nothing has changed. Will this course just add to the guilt?
That is exactly the wound Module 3 exists to address. Your unanswered prayer is not evidence of your failure, and I will not let that idea stand in this course. We go to Paul’s thorn and Trophimus and Timothy directly, and we sit there as long as it takes.
Are you telling me to stop my medication or skip treatment?
No. Emphatically no. Never do that on the basis of anything taught here. I spent years in cardiovascular medicine before ministry, and this course treats prayer and medical care as allies rather than competitors.
Do I need a special gift of healing to take this course?
No. Module 5 exists precisely because the New Testament commissions ordinary believers, not a class of specialists. If you can pray, you can be taught this.
How long does it take to complete?
Most students finish in six to eight weeks at a comfortable pace. You can go faster or slower. You have lifetime access, so it is there when you need it, and many students return to Module 4 during a crisis years later.
Do I need to read the book first?

Will you be teaching the material personally?

Is this course only for Christians?
The course is anchored in Scripture and centered on Jesus Christ as the Healer. Anyone is welcome to enroll, but the content assumes faith in Christ as its starting point.
What if I get stuck partway through?
You will have guided reflection prompts, assessments, and community features throughout. You are not walking this alone.
A leper came to Jesus early in Matthew’s Gospel. Under the law he was not permitted to come at all. He knelt down and said the only thing he was sure of: Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.
He never questioned the power. He questioned the willingness. That is the same question underneath almost every prayer for healing that has ever been prayed, including yours.
Jesus reached out and touched him — touched a leper, which no one did — and answered it in three words.
